RU 1 W - Radio Union receiver, an attempt to compete with VE 301 "People's Receivers". 3-tube regenerative receiver with single tuned circuit. LW and MW broadcast bands, AC powered. There were five different models of RU receivers in production in 1936-1937. No market success because of much higher retail prices as compared with "People's Receivers".
