Key
for V-100 - Straight key made by Pilot Radio
Corporation specially for V-100-A and V-100-B
radios supplied to the USSR in 1942-1945. Bears no resemblance to
J-37 straight key. The key was firmly attached to the front cover
of radio cabinet and had Russian directions on its top.
V-100-A
and V-100-B radios have been manufactured by Pilot Radio Corporation on special
contract with AMTORG, a US company with 100% USSR capital. According to the
contract, radios had to have all the panel markings and technical documentation
in Russian language.
