SHOWCASE 5. CELL 5-12

CMI-26003A - Flameproof straight key of US Navy. Its design was apparently copied from one of German Luftwaffe flameproof keys. 

This key was made by Molded Insulation (CMI). Among the telegraph key collection of Valery Pakhomov (UA3AO) which is part of this site, another such flameproof key, CTE-26003A made by Telephonics Corporation, could be found.
