Manufactured from 1942. DR-89 radio equipment was supplied
to the USSR by The Lend-Lease Act in 1942-1944.

DR-89 radio equipment consisted of three AR-88-F
receivers in a cabinet rack along with monitoring unit and tone keyer unit that
electronically selected the strongest signal of the three receivers suppressing
two weaker signals. The receivers could also be operated individually. Receiver
dimensions (WHD) when out of rack - 480 х 265 х 440 mm. To
the contrast with AR-88-D,
model AR-88-F had additional IF gain control for diversity reception
and special wiring to provide for tone keyer unit operation. After
WW II, DR-89 radio equipment got new designation OA-58/FRC.
