near the rear wall, a very rare Russian plug-in
detector unit is displayed. Made in 1914, it was so-called
Perikon Detector developed by G. W. Pickard. This
type of detector consists of two different crystals, copper
pyrites and zincite, held in firm contact against each other
to produce rectifying effect.
The
