This
unit and model UNA-I-28 with magneto signaling have been the very first field
telephones manufactured for the Red Army (Soviet Union armed forces) by the
USSR industry. The next generation of Red Army field telephones were 1931
models (UNA-F-31 and UNA-I-31).
