German Wehrmacht Tubes

  • Display #05. Wehrmacht Vacuum Tubes (1935-1945)

To be continued after the picture...

A big tube in the middle is Telefunken RS 229 direct heated 400 W output triode. The tube on the wall to the left is LS 180 - Luftwaffe UHF pulse output triode (16 kW peak power at 500 MHz) used in famous "Wurzburg" gun laying radars. Unusual tube on the right wall is gas-filled LG 75, a "Nullode" also used in German radars.

See short descriptions and more tube pictures from our archives under the button "More Details & Pictures". There are also links to RADIOMUSEUM.ORG site for every tube listed.
