German Wehrmacht Tubes

  • Display #4. Wehrmacht Vacuum Tubes (1935-1945)

To be continued after the picture...

A big tube in the middle is Telefunken RS 229 direct heated 400 W output triode. The tube on the wall to the left is LS 180 - Luftwaffe UHF pulse output triode (16 kW peak power at 500 MHz) used in famous "Wurzburg" gun laying radars. Unusual tube on the right wall is gas-filled LG 75, a "Nullode" also used in German radars.

There are two CRT's attached to the ceiling - Luftwaffe LB 8 on top and  LB 7/15 just below it.
