S-H-Feldschreiber) where each character was translated into various
combinations of tones. Designed by German engineer Rudolf
Hell in 1925. Manufactured by Siemens from 1933.

Equipment was simple enough, required only an A1 transmitter and
receiver, and at the time was more reliable than 5-level code teleprinters.
